Routing both deposits and withdrawals through the same verified method is a security measure as much as a convenience one — it means funds always return to a source that's already been confirmed as belonging to you, rather than an arbitrary destination entered at withdrawal time.
If your usual method stops being available for any reason, adding a new verified method is straightforward from account settings, though a newly added method typically needs its own verification before it can be used for withdrawals.
